Sand Safari Arts Festival is back bigger and better with a new name!

Beyond the Sand Arts Festival is the must-attend event on the Gold Coast this autumn, coming for nine whole days in March to transform Surfers Paradise into a giant canvas for sand sculptures and art installations, complete with live entertainment, workshops, special guest artists and bucket loads more.

Expect to be blown away by this year’s theme of Circus Carnival, which will see larger-than-life sand art appear on Surfers Paradise Beach, including Fun Park and Merry-Go-Round sculptures. Catch sand sculpting live in action from renowned artists, as well as three days of head-to-head sand sculpting for the 2021 Australian Sand Sculpting Championships!

If that’s not enough, there will be live circus entertainment to go with the festival theme, involving trapeze artists, jugglers, unicyclists and more, plus live music to catch from local DJs such as Sharks Lloyd, Cory Hotline, Just Jessie and DiskoDisco.

Other artists making an appearance include Courtenay McCue, Amanda Parer, Anna Marie Taberdo, Peter Papamanolis, Jino Van Bruinnessen, Dion Parker and many more!
